πŸ’œ TOGETHER FOR HANNAH πŸ’œ

At just eight years old, Hannah Steane from Echuca has shown more courage than most of us will ever know.

For the past three years, Hannah has been bravely battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. Throughout her journey, she has endured chemotherapy, surgery and radiation treatment with incredible strength, resilience and determination.

With many challenges ahead, we stand with the Steane family in never giving up hope for Hannah. Together with her loving parents Katika and Josh, and siblings Jake and Paige – we are focused on what matters most: spending precious time together, making cherished memories and surrounding Hannah with love.

Hannah is a bright, beautiful and courageous little girl who loves red pandas, the colours purple and teal, swimming, and spending time with her family. One of her greatest wishes is to travel to Japan with her loved ones and create special memories together.

With the support of Country Hope, this appeal has been established to help ease the financial burden on the Steane family, allowing both parents to remain by Hannah's side and focus on caring for Hannah while making every moment count.

Funds raised will help with:
πŸ’œ Household bills and living expenses
πŸ’œ Groceries and fuel
πŸ’œ Travel and accommodation for hospital appointments
πŸ’œ Practical support at home
πŸ’œ Giving the family the gift of time together

Every donation made through this appeal is tax deductible and will go directly to the Steane family via Country Hope.

If you are able, please consider making a donation:
https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/hannahsteane

If you cannot donate, sharing this post is another meaningful way you can help.

Together, we can lighten the burden, create opportunities for precious memories, and show Hannah and her family that they are surrounded by a community that truly cares.

πŸ’œ Every donation makes a difference.
πŸ’œ Every share spreads hope.
πŸ’œ Every act of kindness matters.

πŸ’™ Turning skills into support for local families πŸ’™

A big thank you to Doug and the Access Education team at Wodonga TAFE’s Work Skills For Life program for their ongoing support of Country Hope.

On Friday, students dropped by to collect a range of beautiful birdhouses and coat racks generously handcrafted and donated by Howlong local Jim Edwards.

The students will now help give these items a new purpose, selling them alongside quilts and beanies donated to us at a future Market Day, with proceeds supporting Country Hope families facing the unimaginable.

Thank you to Doug, the students, and Jim for their generosity, community spirit, and willingness to help us give relief when it matters most. πŸ’™
