Registrations are now officially open.

Organised by the Bangladesh Students’ Association (BSA UTAS), the BSA UTAS Soccer Tournament is one of the largest community football events for Bangladeshi students and community members in Tasmania. The tournament brings together players, supporters, volunteers, and football enthusiasts for a weekend of competition, friendship, and community spirit.

This is more than a tournament. It is an opportunity to represent your team, showcase your talent, build new connections, and create lasting memories both on and off the field.

What a game ⚽

A great friendly match between the Bangladeshi students of University of Tasmania and Reach Community College, with UTAS taking the win 4-1 🙌

More than the result, it was amazing to see students coming together, enjoying football, and sharing great moments on and off the field. Huge respect to both teams for the energy and sportsmanship throughout the match.

BSA UTAS Boishakhi Mela 2026 ✨🇧🇩

2 May 2026 was truly a memorable day for our community ❤️

BSA UTAS proudly hosted Boishakhi Mela 2026 at MCOT, Moonah, bringing together 300+ attendees for a wonderful celebration of culture, food, music, and community spirit.

From the cultural performances and traditional Bangladeshi food to meeting so many familiar and new faces, the atmosphere throughout the event was amazing. It was beautiful to see students, families, and members of the wider Tasmanian community come together to celebrate Bengali New Year 🇧🇩

This event was more than just a festival - it was about culture, connection, and creating a feeling of home away from home.

💪🏻 Big thanks to the BSA UTAS Executive Committee 2026 and all volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise and manage the event. The hard work, dedication, teamwork, and countless hours truly made this event possible.
