We are a group of volunteers that came together to help a greater need for the animals. Everyone in this rescue has had vast experience within other rescues all around NSW. We've traveled and taken in animals from all over the region From NSW To Vic , Queensland and SA . Thank you. Our mission as a responsible rescue is to take responsibility in providing shelter from the rain and wind, give warmth and care to all animals. We will provided FOOD, WATER, BEDDING, VET WORK & COMPASSION to all animals in need whether they are strays, shelter/ pound & owner surrenders. We will take in all breeds of DOGS & PUPPIES at any age. We hope to build more kennels and cattery to take in more of these babies in the near future. We also HELP with REHOME ASSISTANCE and DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Animal and People

SURRENDERS
So our process when taking in a new animal is

1. The owner fills out a surrender form providing driver license, Microchip number and details of vet work such as vaccinations and any behavioural issues.

2. Upon arrival into care the animals are given a 3 day cooling off period where they get familiar with us and to their new surroundings then we begin to start the basic assessment of lead walking past other dogs and cats and reading body behaviour. This is to assess what training is required for the animals to undergo further.

3. The next step is a temperament test where we see how they behave around kids, how the dogs interact with one another as well as how the cats interact one another too.

4. Following the temperament test and assessment, basic training begins. The dogs will be trained in recall, toilet training, walking well on a lead and know commands such as sit, lay, lay-down and to take treats nicely from a hand. As well as training not to jump. The adoption process begins by looking at potential applicants who will need to provide a divers license for proof of address and yard photos to make sure the yard is secure for dog or puppy.

2. Once we have chosen which applicant is best we arrange a MEET & GREET. If all goes well the adoption process will commence. We ask for the adoption fee to be paid up front before taking the animal. A 14 DAY TRIAL commences to make sure the applicant is a good fit before finalising the adoption. If the applicant is not a good fit we pick up the animal and refund the money minus $50 to cover costs associated with the process.
*This excludes Interstate adoptions.

2.1 Interstate adoptions will be discussed with the applicant on a case by case basis. Details will be provided verbally and within a written contract that will need to be agreed upon, signed and returned before the adoption procedure commences. GUARDIAN ANGELS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FOOD, TOYS, ACCESSORIES OR VET WORK FOR THE ANIMAL THAT IS IN THE CARE OF THE ADOPTER AT ANY TIME.

🐾 RUBY UPDATE ❤️

Our beautiful Ruby is safe 🙏. She’s been vet checked to make sure she wasn’t hurt or injured and is now having some quiet time to settle and decompress.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support we received throughout Geelong. A huge thank you to Milly’s Search, Trap and Reunite Melbourne – Victoria, the local Lost & Found and Geelong community Facebook groups who allowed us to continually share Ruby’s posts, and every single person who shared, searched messaged or called in a sighting.

A very special thank you has to go to Meg, Ruby’s carer. Meg took Ruby in from the pound and welcomed her into her home. When Ruby escaped just two days later, Meg was absolutely heartbroken and spent countless hours driving, searching and following up sightings, determined to get her home safely. She never gave up on her. ❤️

Thank you also to Tegan, Milly’s, our rescue volunteer team behind the scenes. So many hours were spent searching, communicating, mapping and tracking every sighting as Ruby moved through the area. Every phone call and every sighting mattered.

Over those few days, Ruby travelled an incredible distance through unfamiliar areas, navigating busy roads and even areas around the railway line. It made every sighting and phone call all the more important in helping us keep track of where she was heading.

And then came the most incredible ending. At around 3am Friday morning, Ruby made her own way home. After knowing the house for barely 48 hours before she escaped, she was captured on camera crying at the door and even trying to open the handle. ❤️

We couldn’t believe it.

Ruby now has all the love, time, support, training and exercise she needs as she settles in. And hopefully, no more adventures like this one! 🤞🐾❤️

Hi guys, it’s me, Boston! 🐾

I had a big day out! I went for a run around at the dog park, then headed into town for a stroll and a bit of people watching. 👀

I was such a good boy, taking everything in and enjoying being out and about. ❤️

And yes… in case you missed the very subtle message on my vest 😂 I’m still waiting for someone to choose me.

Maybe one day my day out will end with me heading home to my very own family. 🏡❤️

Three years young and absolutely full of charm, Oreo is a sweet, affectionate girl with an easy-going nature and the cutest curly tail you've ever seen! 💗🤍

She's a petite Kelpie x Staffy mix weighing approximately 17kg with a big heart to match.

Oreo loves people, likes other dogs, and finds joy in walks, sniffing adventures, and simply being included in daily life. She has a lovely balance of energy — active and curious without being over-the-top — and settled beautifully into care after travelling calmly for over 5 hours in transport. What a good girl! 🐕

Oreo would thrive in a home that can offer her regular walks, enrichment, and plenty of companionship. Her clever mixed breed brain will love having things to explore and do!

🐾Rusty With his adorable upright ears, big cheeky smile and eyes that say “let’s go!”, our boy Rusty will be stealing your heart in no time!

Rusty is a 7years and 7months old Red Kelpie dog and he is quite the impressive old fellow.
He has not long come into our care so we are still getting to know him due to benign a stray with no information .
He shows just how intelligent he is by responding very well to commands and displaying respectful behaviour (putting those gorgeous ears to good use 🤭)
True to his breed, Rusty loves his activity - whether it be a long walk, a game of fetch or working on obedience training, he loves to be moving his body to satisfy his needs.
Once he has had his daily stimulation, Rusty would appreciate nothing more than to be in the presence of his humans. He creates strong bonds with people who give him the time he deserves, and he can’t wait to find his human companion(s) to be a loyal and loving best friend to.

• Sit down and stay calm
• Don’t stare at her or approach her
• Throw treats/food near her and let her come to you

Ruby has only just arrived at her new home in Geelong West. She was outside for just a couple of minutes and unfortunately managed to jump the fence and get out.

As she is new to the area, she may be frightened, disoriented and unsure of her surroundings.

Ruby is now out of the pound and safe under the wing of our Rescue. ❤️

A huge thank you to the lovely lady who has opened her home to Ruby and given her a safe and loving place to land.

She’s settling in beautifully and enjoying some very well-deserved rest. 🐾💕

Please note: Titan is also needing a home and from the same Pound, he does need somewhere to go soon.
