Capertee Progress is excited to announce that due to popular demand, we are again hosting our

Capertee Christmas in July Luncheon at the Capertee Hall!

When: Sunday 19th July - Start: 12 noon & run through to 3pm.

You will be served by Santa & his helpers, a sumptuous 3 course meal including a complimentary glass of wine, tea, coffee, soft drinks... all for only $50 per person (price adjusted for children). PLUS there'll be lots of lucky door Christmas presents!

Bookings are essential - payments must be made before 8th July to enable time for catering. We recommend you get in quick so you don't miss out as seats are limited!

The hall is heated, so you will be cosy on the day even if it's nasty weather outside. Santa will be available for free photo opportunities.

While other issues need more funding, this one just needs approval to reopen the old Capertee school site and make it productive again. 🏫✨

🌟 Capertee Christian School – Community Update! 🌟

What an incredible few months for our community! 🙌
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring a Christian‑based school back to Capertee, and we want to share the progress so far:

✨ We’ve corresponded with the Department of Education and formally requesting the leasing of the former Capertee Public School site.

✨ We’ve secured letters of support from both Paul Toole and Andrew Gee — a huge boost for our case!
✨ We’ve written to the Minister for Education, asking for approval to vary the recess period so the site can be used now, not in two years.
✨ And most importantly — our community is standing strong together. 💪❤️

We’re pushing for a positive, practical solution that brings education back to our valley and puts an unused public asset to good use.
