FATHERS WAREHOUSE exists to raise money to support other amazing "Not for Profits" that are working hard to make the world a better place. One of those organizations is "Reach Beyond" (formerly HCJB) which is a global Christian missionary organization that uses media, such as shortwave radio, and community healthcare projects to share the good news and support unreached people in remote areas.

So when their management asked if we could help by selling a massive 22KV transformer and switchboard to raise money for their transmitter maintenance, we were happy to oblige.

Selling unusual stuff means you just have to sit and wait, sometimes for years until a buyer pops up. We are very pleased to report that it has finally sold, along with the accompanying
22kV switchboard.

Its a large lump of a thing and it will be nice to reclaim a bit of floor space.

Ok you’re asking, so what really does your charity do? Where does the money go?
Well here’s one place it goes. FATHERS WAREHOUSE supports the Kimberley Alta-1 school for aboriginal girls. This is an amazing place run but equally amazing staff who are totally committed to helping girls struggling with all of life issues.
We are so proud of them.

And yes we need your continued help with donations of electrical parts to keep doing what we are doing. Come on you tradies and engineers !!

We love donations as all money made is given away to other selected life changing charities. But sometimes we have to help a friend in need. So it is a joy to help a friend who has donated parts to FATHERS WAREHOUSE previously but whose ELECTRICAL business has now been forced to close. We are set up for and so occasionally do sell on consignment. It will take some time to process all these parts. But we know that what goes around, comes around. "Give and it will be given unto you".

Donations of parts to sell has traditionally come through contacts within the industry. But then sometimes it happens just by word of mouth. Imagine my joy and surprise when I received an unexpected call yesterday from Ian, an 83 yo man who wanted to donate all of his three phase wood working equipment. His neighbour had purchased a part previously from our warehouse and recommended us because he knew we were a charity. Sadly we were unable to accept his equipment due to its type, age and weight. Never the less, I was so appreciative of his call and thanked him so very much.

We are grateful to everyone for continuing to spread the word about Father’s Warehouse and the opportunities we have to provide funding for the work that we do with the under priviledged and other incredible charities.

Perhaps you also have friends like Ian who are looking to donate unwanted electrical parts. Please tell them about Fathers Warehouse. We rely on all our supporters and contacts to be our eyes and ears. Have a great day.

The vision for a warehouse came on the 20th March 2014.

And the motto came with it. "Father's parts to the farthest parts". When we unwrapped our new sign to display in front of our warehouse, little did we know that the creators had done their own research and there on the back of the sign was ........

Just so many thanks to these awesome bunch of blokes. So many others missing from this photo. A job well done.

After 7 years at our warehouse in Rockingham, Western Australia, we have outgrown our premises. We have been looking for a suitable warehouse to move to for the past 12 months. Then, in November, we were offered another building within the same complex that comes with a mezzanine, providing twice the amount of storage for the same rent. But it wasn’t just a simple move. It required insulating the roof, completing the mezzanine that only filled 75% of the space, building a new office, demolishing our existing warehouse, and moving all our parts. We put out a call for volunteers to help and were inundated with 30 volunteers. So, five full weeks later, we had made the move and started trading from Unit 9. What an amazing experience! We are just so incredibly grateful to everyone who turned up to help. It’s a brilliant place to work from, and our new office is so much larger and accommodating. This coming Saturday, we celebrate the move with all the volunteers and their spouses who had to put up with us being away from home for over a month. We give thanks to God, whose warehouse it is – The Father’s Warehouse!

It’s taken a few weeks to sort, catalogue and finally list on our huge eBay store, the electrical hardware that was donated by StoneEffects on the Sunshine Coast.

It doesn’t always happen this way but in this case, we sold some of those parts within the first 24 hours after listing them for sale.

While donations usually contain a variety of items, some being common and of low value, there is usually one or two absolutely gems and this was also the case with these parts.

Thankyou StoneEffects for the Siemens Sinumerik Control device that sold immediately for a great price. This type of device are such a huge help and enable us to to fund the various organisations that we financially support.

All of the money raised by sales is used to support other charities and not-for-profits.

We love it when our customers who have purchased from us come back later and offer to donate unwanted electrical parts. This was the case in February 2025 when StoneEffects on the Sunshine Coast decommissioned one of their large stone cutting saws, and sent all the electrical hardware including inverters, circuit breakers, transformers and many other parts across to Fathers Warehouse in WA.

We are truly grateful, and particularly just now as we have expanded our support this year to include the Alta-1 school for aboriginal girls in Kununurra.

Many thanks to the staff at Stone Effects. You are helping to make a real difference to struggling communities.

Fathers Warehouse has grown over the past few years requiring assistance from others to help with cataloguing and dispatching twice a week. Many thanks to Hugh Tomlinson who has stepped in to help sort and catalogue the mountain of donated parts, and to Peter Mangano, Phil Dewer, Max Williams and Chris Harding who manage the twice weekly dispatch of parts to so many counties around the world. Thanks to Clive Hebbard for managing all maintenance and to Brice Rowe for our Database that we just couldn't do without. Its a great team that together allows Fathers Warehouse to provide funds to under privileged communities in Cambodia, to a hospice for the terminally ill in Kolkata India, and to the Christian mission DCPI in SE Asia.

As always we continue to seek the support of companies that want to make a difference by donating redundant and unwanted new and used industrial electrical parts. See our website to get in touch with us.

We're a charity accepting equipment and hardware that would normally be discarded, and sell it to support infrastructure in other countries.
