The outdoors is at the heart of Scouting — from hiking and paddling to camping under the stars, learning new skills, and exploring the natural world. 🌏

Through these adventures, young people develop a greater appreciation for the environment and gain a deeper understanding of their role in protecting it. Across Australia, Scout Groups are taking action through community clean-up events, tree planting projects, recycling programs, sustainable outdoor practices, and local conservation efforts that make a positive difference.

Scouts Australia remains committed to empowering young people to care for the environment and find innovative ways to protect our planet for generations to come.

Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.

Whilst your young people are learning from volunteers in Scouting, our volunteers are always learning too. One of the ways we do this is through our quaterly District Training Meetings. Last night we focused on risk management, District goals and camp cooking.

Today we remember our Founder.

Happy Founder’s Day!
Today, we celebrate the legacy of our founder, Lord Baden-Powell, and the incredible impact the Scouting movement has had on millions of lives worldwide.

A movement rooted in service, adventure, friendship, and a deep belief in the potential of young people. Founder’s Day is also a time to renew our commitment to the Scout Promise and Law - to be people of character, courage, compassion, and hope.

The BP award is the peak award in the Rover section and both Jemma and Zobey put in hundred of hours of work across a range of areas to achieve this award. We are so proud of their efforts.
