Our excellent team responded to a vessel suffering mechanical problems yesterday, the vessel was 30nm North of Onslow.
Given the size of the vessel, the tow was safely executed at 10kts, making for a 3 hour tow home.

🌿 A Huge Thank You to Our Volunteers! 🌿

A massive thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their Saturday morning to help out at the Marine Rescue Onslow busy bee!

This morning was all about getting stuck into the gardening — plenty of weeding, trimming, pruning and general tidying up to give the grounds a much-needed makeover. 🌱💪

We really appreciate everyone who came along, got their hands dirty and helped make our facility look fantastic.

Today our team responded to a vessel that had suffered a breakdown and was making way very slowly with a Minnkota, back to Onslow.
They hooked them up behind Direction Is. and towed them to safety.
Big thanks to the volunteers that gave their time today to help a complete stranger - “a candle loses nothing when it lights another”.
