A massive thankyou to all the volunteers who turned up to our National Tree Day planting this morning along the Old Beach Foreshore.

We planted 122 plants native to the Old Beach area to restore an area which had recently Boxthorn removed.

Thank you Justin from Derwent Catchment Group and Jess from Enviro Dynamics for your support and coordination of the event this morning. Also thanks to Brighton Council for supplying mulch to assist with protecting the plants.

Time to get your hands dirty and give back to your community and nature at the National Tree Day planting event on the 27th July!

Come join Friends of Old Beach Foreshore Landcare Group to rejuvenate the foreshore. After some tough work removing the invasive Boxthorn, they are ready to revegetate and need your help. Bring along sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen and a water bottle, plus your favourite gardening gloves!

When-10am-12:00pm.
