Huntlee Academy is a not for profit organisation employing and training disadvantaged people from the local Hunter Valley area to equip them with the skills and experience to gain long-term careers. We are also a bulk collection point for the Return & Earn scheme.

Today is the day. The Hike for Brighter Futures has officially kicked off 🏔️

Members of the Huntlee Academy community are now taking on this incredible challenge along sections of the Great Wall of China, all to raise funds for Barnardos Australia.

Barnardos supports vulnerable children and young people by helping them find safety, rebuild confidence, and access the support they need to move forward in life. Their work creates real, lasting change for families who need it most.

At Huntlee Academy, we are proud to support initiatives that reflect our purpose, creating opportunity, strengthening communities, and building pathways to a better future.

Every step taken on this journey represents hope and opportunity for children and young people who need it most.

On World Environment Day, we are reminded that looking after the environment is something we all share responsibility for 🌏🌱

At Huntlee Academy, much of our work happens outdoors across the Hunter Valley, maintaining land, improving community spaces, and delivering property services that help keep our local environment safe, functional, and cared for.

Through our training programs and business units, we are also creating opportunities for people to learn practical, hands-on skills that contribute to long-term environmental care, from landscaping and mowing to mulching and site maintenance.

Every small action adds up, from how we manage green spaces to how we support sustainable practices in our day-to-day work.

Today is a reminder that protecting our environment is not just something we talk about, it is something we do together through everyday action 🌿
