DONS DONS (Dads of Newport & Surrounds) We're the Dads of Newport & Surrounds, we meet, there's beverages, we laugh, this happens every 2 months or so.

Our Purpose:
To bring together like minded Dads who are in a similar time in their lives. You meet so many great people in mothers groups, kinder and school. In time you tend to lose connections with everyone heading in different directions. The DONS catchups every few months maintains these connections and builds a stronger more connected community for us and our families. The idea of DONS on Fri

days is all about not eating into each of our family's weekends. Additionally the idea is you put the kids to bed ( for younger ones) trying to not give your partner any additional work and then head out after 7.30pm on the day of the promoted DONS catchup. Also, unless promoted as a family day or night. It is not appropriate for kids to come to a function. We also promote Fitness sessions for local dads that generally run on Monday nights from 8-9pm at Bryan Martin Oval Newport by Steve from inspirational health and fitness.

Newport, your Halloween destination is back again in 2025

The Rotary Club of Williamstown will once again be hosting its annual Halloween Night at Newport Lakes Reserve on Friday 31st October. This fun filled event is free for the whole family. See you there!
