Rain ... rain .... at last! Inconvenient to most ... Upside....Our dedicated small group of volunteers have had a short rest from the end of a hose! Now come the weeds and annual leaf fall. We need help over winter as well to keep the gardens going. You don't have to be a gardener to help.

A real SOS for more volunteers and urgently. If you can help early morning or late afternoon with watering, please contact me. We have had some health issues knock our dedicated volunteers out of action plus others who have moved from the Bay.

Lots more colour being added to a sunny spot - a mini makeover taking place near the pedestrian lights - Well done David and Cathy - champion volunteers - not only for Civic Pride.
Thanks to Council for the new directional signage throughout the Nelson Bay Town Centre and for the Vibrant Spaces mini grant for plants.

Working bees ahead - in between the rain and showers! One at 9 am on Tuesday next(12th) and the other on Friday (15th). Meet at the big garden near the seats opposite Woolies and we'll spread out from there. New helpers most welcome to join in. Tools and vests provided. A cuppa and catch up afterwards.
Update: Friday 15th working bee called off.
