Through education and training, we will make local communities as mental health safe as they are physically safe, tackling the problem at a grassroots, community level.

Thank you again to everyone who came along, braved the cold water, shared a chat, enjoyed an egg and bacon roll cooked by Rotary Club of Mount Martha, and helped create such a wonderful atmosphere of connection and community.

🌊💙 What a fantastic morning we had at Together We Dip! 💙🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who came along this morning and helped make Together We Dip – A community coming together for mental health such a wonderful celebration of connection, courage and community.🙌

There were plenty of brave people who took the plunge and faced the cold water together! Whether you went all in, took a quick dip, or cheered everyone on from the shore, thank you for being part of the morning and showing that we are stronger together.

And those egg and bacon rolls certainly helped warm up a lot of very cold dippers! A huge thank you to Rotary Club of Mount Martha for cooking up a delicious BBQ breakfast and helping everyone warm up and refuel after their dip.

A very special thank you to Mount Martha Life Saving Club for providing water safety and helping keep everyone safe as they took the plunge.

We'd also like to give a huge shout-out to our amazing MHSN volunteers, who helped spread the word by putting up posters around town in the lead-up to the event, as well as volunteering their time to help make the morning run smoothly. We couldn't do it without you!

And our sincere thanks to all of our wonderful event supporters, including Specialist I.T. Services, Coles Mornington Tyabb Road, and Avenue Press, whose generosity helped bring Together We Dip to life.

A special thank you also goes to everyone who made a donation online or on the day. While Together We Dip was a free community event, the generous contributions from those who donated will help Mental Health Safety Net continue providing vital su***de prevention education and support across our community. Every donation makes a difference.

Finally, thank you to our community for showing up, connecting with one another, and supporting the message that no one has to face life's challenges alone.🫶

🌊💙 It's almost time to brave the cold! Tomorrow, Sunday 30 August, we're coming together for Together We Dip - A community coming together for mental health. 💙🌊

So, grab your bathers, boardies, or wetsuit and join us for a dip in the bay!

Whether you take a quick splash, a waist-deep wade or go all in, the important thing is that we do it together.

It isn't about how far you go into the water. It's about stepping outside your comfort zone, showing up for one another and reminding ourselves that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

Grab your family, friends, workmates, or clubmates and join us – or come along solo. You won't be on your own for long!

Don’t forget the first 100 to arrive get to enjoy a free egg and bacon roll, cooked by our wonderful friends at Rotary Club of Mount Martha.🥓
