The Clubhouse Moorooka

The Clubhouse Moorooka A family-friendly community space for all in the heart of Moorooka We called it The Third Place Group. We would love to see everyone utilising the club.

Our vision is to create a welcoming, family-friendly, community hub for locals to meet and socialise, creating a connected, diverse, supportive and healthy community. Our plan is to revitalise the former Moorooka Bowls Club and make better use of the facilities. A mix of contemporary events and activities, affordable, sophisticated food and drink offerings, and a refurbishment will make the space

more attractive and welcoming for the community to gather. We are a group of passionate volunteer locals interested in seeing the former Moorooka Bowls Club retained for community use. In order to be eligible to take on the venue’s lease we had to create a not-for-profit organisation. A ‘third place’ is a space where people spend time between home (‘first’ place) and work (‘second’ place). We recognised a demand for a ‘third place’ in Moorooka, where the community can gather and connect. Our purpose is to build a healthy neighbourhood social life and sense of community. We believe the new venue will only be as great as our community wants it to be. If you want to get involved, DM us, sign up to be a volunteer via our website, or chat to us at the bar. In recognition of its history, we have called the new venue The Clubhouse Moorooka.

We've got Father's Day covered with a day of giveaways, activities and specials!

Whether it's a family morning out or just some takeaway treats to bring home, Bean on the Green will be open from 6:15am to welcome you.

Try your hand at a Giant Cardboard Creation and vote on your favourite!

Morgs will be slinging Gins and Tins on the green from 2pm, and there's even a special treat for dad at the bar ...

We'll have a food truck from 3pm, free barefoot (or socks and sandals) bowls and a great community vibe.
