Anzac Day in Mirboo North

The Mirboo North RSL would sincerely like to thank the community for their continued support in attending the Anzac Day services held throughout the day and the main service at the Secondary College on Saturday 25th April 2026.

We would especially like to thank the following who assisted in many ways.

We give thanks to the school students who assisted with the set up and set down of the auditorium on the day, handing out our ceremony leaflets and rosemary.
We also would like to thank our local trusty reporter Rob Waycott for all the photos and reporting on the day.

Last but not the very least I, as President, would like to thank Vice President Tim Richardson for running the day. From the Dawn service, the school service and the great time had during the Two up. Also I would sincerely like to thank our ladies of the RSL for their dedication and continued support, especially in the selling of the Anzac appeal badges over the two weeks leading up to the day, for donating and making the food for the after service refreshments, their tireless work in setting up and cleaning up at the end of the day, it is very much appreciated.
Our next meeting is on the 01 June, 7.00pm at the RSL hall, 116 Ridgeway, opposite the Hardware store. If you would like any further information about membership or the kind of things we do just give us a call.

Thank you to all who attended the Mirboo North RSL Sub-Branch dawn service this morning.
We are thankful for the support from the community for this ceremony.
Please remember 10.45am for an 11am start at the Mirboo North Secondary College - Official service.
Mirboo North Hotel is hosting 2-Up in the sports bar from 1pm today to help raise money to support our local veteran's. A fundraising bbq will also be available from 1.30pm outside the sport bar.

Followed by Tea and toast at RSL Hall

Main Service
🕥 When: 25 April, 10:45am for 11:00am start
📍 Where: Mirboo North Secondary College – Castle St
Light refreshments to follow at RSL Hall.

Two-up
🕑 When: 25 April, From 1:00pm onwards
📍 Where: Mirboo North Hotel Bar – 70 Ridgway

Mirboo North RSL Sub-Branch would like to thank all who attended our Christmas lunch today. Great chats, good food and always super yummy desserts were had.
We are very grateful for all the volunteers, members and all who work endlessly to keep this branch open.
We wish everyone a safe holiday season. We hope for positive steps forward to everyone.
If anyone needs anything during this busy time please reach out, we are here for all.

A special thanks to Councillor Brad Snell, the captains and vice-captains from Mirboo North Primary School and Mirboo North Secondary College - Official , and representatives from Mirboo North Ambulance and Mirboo North CFA for being part of the ceremony.
