FREE MENS BBQ THIS SUNDAY!!

Sometimes all it takes is getting out of the house, having a feed and sharing a laugh with a few good blokes.

That’s what our Bayswater Blokes BBQs are all about. Bringing men together, building friendships and creating a community where everyone feels welcome.

We’re back this Sunday, 8 November, and we’d love to see a few new faces alongside our regulars.

What a fantastic evening at our latest Bayswater Blokes workshop, The Way Men Heal.

A massive thank you to Terry Larson for sharing his knowledge, experience and insight into how men experience grief and loss.

One of the biggest takeaways was that men often want something practical to do with their grief. Creating personal rituals can give us a way to acknowledge what has happened, honour what we have lost and begin moving forward.

Thank you to every bloke who came along, listened and contributed to another honest and meaningful conversation.

FREE WORKSHOP NEXT WEEK!

Loss is something every bloke carries, but it’s rarely something we talk about.

Our next workshop, The Way Men Heal, is with Terry Larson - a psychological therapist and trained anthropologist with 25+ years’ experience in men’s mental health. We’ll get into how men experience loss, why it’s often hard to even recognise, and what actually helps in moving forward.

🌱 Helping Hands Volunteer Morning | Sun, 20th Sept @ Baigup Wetlands (9am - 12pm) - Get your hands dirty to give back to a local community space. It's a great way to spend the Saturday, get some movement in and help others. RSVPs are essential!
