🌱 Helping Hands Volunteer Morning | Sun, 20th Sept @ Baigup Wetlands (9am - 12pm) - Get your hands dirty to give back to a local community space. It's a great way to spend the Saturday, get some movement in and help others. RSVPs are essential!

🗣️ Free Workshop: The Way Men Heal | Tue, 20th Oct @ The Rise, Maylands (6:00pm - 7:30pm)- An honest and practical conversation hosted by Terry Larson on how men experience loss, why it’s hard to recognise, and how we begin moving forward.

If the weather decides not to play nice, we’ll still be going ahead. Instead of our usual spot, we’ll be moving just one minute down the road to the Maylands Sport & Rec Club.

The club has kindly allowed us to use their facilities free of charge, giving us a dry, undercover space to catch up, share a feed and connect.

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and post an update closer to the day if needed, but for now it’s business as usual.

Community. Connection. Giving back.

As part of the Helping Hands initiative at Bayswater Blokes, we volunteer our time and labour to support local community groups, many of which are run entirely by volunteers.

Today we spent the morning at the Bedford Bowling Club, helping prepare the grounds for their new pickleball courts.

We had a great group of blokes roll up their sleeves, share a few laughs, get outdoors, and make a positive contribution to the community. That’s exactly what Helping Hands is all about.

To top it all off, the boys surprised Darren with a birthday cake. Anyone who knows him knows he never say no to a bit of cake!

A big thank you to UBX Bedford, our Helping Hands sponsor, for supporting this initiative. Their sponsorship helps us keep our volunteers fuelled with coffees, cold drinks and a BBQ after each project. We really appreciate you backing local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today. It’s amazing what can be achieved when good people come together.

If you’d like to join us at a future Helping Hands day, we’d love to have you. You don’t need to be a tradie or have any special skills just a willingness to lend a hand.

A massive shoutout to all the blokes who rocked up this past Wednesday, 1st July, for our free workshop: The Relationships That Shape Us. This was our biggest workshop yet, so thank you to everyone, and let's keep this movement for mens wellbeing, community and support growing!

A huge thank you to Paul Judd leading this session. Paul brought real lived experience, proper education and a down-to-earth approach to the table. In this workshop we explored how our relationships with family members, mates, work colleagues, and most importantly ourselves, directly shape our wellbeing and outlook on life.

If you couldn't make it down, don't sweat it.
