Join the Mackay Northern Beaches Lions Club for our Community Car Boot Sale. A morning of selling, sharing, discovering and giving good things another life.
Got cupboards that need clearing out? Downsizing? Kids outgrown their toys? Have clothes, books, household items, plants, tools or other good-quality things you simply don’t need anymore?
Bring them along to sell or give away and help keep useful things in our community and out of landfill.
Or just come along for a browse — you never know what treasures you might find!

🚗 WANT TO HAVE A STALL?
Bookings are essential and strictly limited to just 20 sites. Each stallholder will have approximately 1½ standard car parking spaces, providing room for your vehicle and your sale area.
💰 Site fee: $20
🎟️ Only 20 sites available – book early to secure your spot!
All site fees raised go to the Mackay Northern Beaches Lions Club, the host and organiser of the event, to support its work in our local community.

⏰ STALLHOLDER SET-UP & PACK-DOWN
Stallholders need to be fully set up and ready by 8am.
For everyone’s safety, stalls and vehicles are to remain in place throughout the event, with pack-down commencing from 11am.
🚻 TOILET FACILITIES
Please note that there are no toilet facilities at the event site.
The nearest toilet facilities are located at Woolworths Northern Beaches and the Northern Beaches Community Hub, a short distance from the event.

Join Mackay Regional Council and learn more about the Northern Beaches Community Hub. View the latest designs at a community presentation to be held at Club Northern Beaches Mackay, corner of Rosewood Drive and Mackay-Bucasia Road, on Monday, August 31 at 6pm.

Located opposite Mackay Northern Beaches State High School, the Hub is being delivered in stages, with the multi-purpose court and nature play area already complete. A library, customer service facilities, nine flexible bookable community rooms and a café space are under construction.

There will be spaces for meetings, training sessions, workshops and events through to community group gatherings and even yoga or Pilates classes. A Robust Room has been designed for art and craft activities like mosaics and clay workshops, and an Acoustic Workshop room will offer music activities and audio recording. The largest room can hold 142 people.

The Australian Government has contributed $6.5 million towards Stage 1A and $15 million through the Growing Regions Program Round 1 for Stage 1B of the Northern Beaches Community Hub.

The Growing Regions Program supports community-focused infrastructure that revitalises regional areas and improves local amenity and liveability.

Stages 1A and 1B of the Northern Beaches Community Hub are jointly funded by the Australian Government and Mackay Regional Council.
