‼️ Help needed ‼️ Mackay City Strings are looking for a new rehearsal venue. We are wanting to rehearse Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7pm. This will only be for 6 week blocks during the year, I can provide exact dates. If you are a local business or are associated with an agency that may suit our needs please comment below or get in touch 😊🙏

Some of our Mackay City Strings members joined Bentley Music Academy Malaysia and Mackay Choral Society this week for a spectacular performance of Exchange for Peace and the Triple M Mackay & The Whitsundays Carol's by Candlelight. A brilliant weekend of performance. Thanks for having us 🎶🎻

Yesterday Mackay City Strings performed as a double quartet with bass at the Mackay Orchestras and Bands competition. Awarded a silver award! Congratulations to all members who played at this event 🙌🥈

Many thanks to the Mackay RSL for having our MCS Leaders play as a quartet for the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII commemoration dinner. A fabulous night had by all 🎻💕
