🇹🇰🌺 Celebrating Tokelau Language Week! 🌺🇹🇰

What a wonderful celebration of Tokelau Language Week today at our combined Pepe & Tau Fanau Playgroup! ❤️

It was a beautiful morning filled with cultural learning, weaving, dancing, laughter and meaningful connections! By our two Tokelau mamas 🥰

It was especially lovely to see our dads and grandparents joining in the celebrations, sharing in the joy of culture, language and togetherness.

At Village Connect, we love creating spaces where our children can learn, families can connect, and our beautiful Pasifika cultures can be celebrated and passed on to the next generation. 🌺

A big FAKAFETAI LAHI LELE to everyone who came along and made today so special! ❤️

Celebrating our cultures, strengthening our connections and growing together as one village! 🌴💕

🤍 WHITE SUNDAY | CHILDREN’S DAY 🤍

As many of our Pasifika families begin celebrating and preparing for White Sunday this week and next, we wanted to share some highlights from how Village Connect celebrated our tamariki – our precious children in community– last month. 🌺

What a beautiful day filled with fun, games, laughter, connection and community! 🫧🎉

At Village Connect, we believe our children are a gift from God and deserve to be celebrated, encouraged and surrounded by a village that helps them flourish.

“Children are a heritage from the Lord.” – Psalm 127:3
