Garden memberships and plots available now The Leongatha Community Garden is flourishing with a wide variety of fruit trees, berries, vegetables and herbs grown by our members. The garden is currently undergoing an upgrade to increase the number of available beds. There is a hot house for propagation, a new composting facility and ra

ised garden plots that are available for community members for a small annual fee. All plot holders have access to water, compost material and gardening tools. You can also be a community garden member without managing a plot. This allows you to meet fellow members and engage in the events conducted by the Garden. The area also has a community room with kitchen (available for hire to members), a children’s playground, a tool shed for communal gardening equipment, and a chicken coop with enclosed pen. This Weekend at the Leongatha Community Garden.

COMMONS MARKET

Tomorrow the Commons Market at the Garden/Commons is happening again, as it does every week on a Saturday.

Open to all.

Here are the details -

Saturday 23rd
From 8:30am until 11:00am

At the Commons Shed off Howard Street.

A great selection of fresh veggies and fruit offered at affordable prices.

All proceeds go to the Community Garden/Commons.

Come and have a browse.

WORKING BEE 🐝
Then on Sunday, May 24th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM we are holding our
Working bee!

Can only drop by for a bit? No worries at all! Whether you can spare 30 minutes, an hour, or the full two hours, every little bit of help makes a huge difference.

Stick Around for a bite!
To say thank you for all your hard work, we will be hosting a sausage sizzle at 12:00 noon right after we wrap up. Come for the gardening, stay for the chat and a hot snack!
