Repair Café is on this Saturday! 🔧🧵

Got a favourite item that’s not quite working the way it should? Before you replace it, bring it along to Lakelands Repair Café this Saturday and let our volunteers see if it can be given a second chance.

From clocks and jewellery to toys, sewing repairs and small household items, we love helping well-used and well-loved things keep going a little longer.

Please note: we don’t do clothing alterations and we can’t work on 240V electrical faults (mechanical issues only), but you’re welcome to bring items along and we can advise if they may be repairable. 🔧

We are here today at Lakelands shopping centre till 1pm this afternoon.
Bring your broken, damaged, torn items etc. and we will do it best to repair it for you. 🙂

No 240 volt repairs.
And no clothing alterations.

Got something sitting in the “I’ll fix that one day” pile? This Saturday might be the day!

Bring your clocks, jewellery, toys, clothing repairs and small household items along to Lakelands Repair Café at the shopping centre and our friendly volunteers will see what we can do.

It’s a great way to save money, learn something new and keep well-loved items out of landfill.

We’d love to see you — and your repair items — there!

Community Notice: Lost Wedding Ring 💍

A lady lost her precious wedding ring in the shopping centre this morning. As you can imagine, it means the world to her and she is absolutely heartbroken.

If anyone has found a ring today, we kindly ask that you please hand it in to Shopping Centre Security. It’s not just a piece of jewellery — it holds years of memories and love.

Please keep an eye out while you’re around the centre today. Returning it would truly make someone’s day.

Welcome to Lake-lands! 🌧️🚣‍♀️

Yes, the car park has turned into a bit of a lake today… but we are still here fixing things until 1pm!

So whether you arrive by car, kayak, canoe or a very determined pair of wet shoes, come on down to Lakelands Repair Café at the shopping centre. Our volunteers are ready and waiting to help bring your items back to life.

Clocks, jewellery, toys, clothing repairs and more — if it needs some TLC, bring it along!

We’ll be here keeping things dry (mostly) and fixing things until 1pm today.
