🧡 Learning Together for Healthier Communities

The Revive Orange Sky team recently came together in Halls Creek for an informative training session on common health conditions affecting communities across the Kimberley.

Led by Mick, the session explored five common diseases, including their causes, symptoms, treatment options, and prevention strategies.

While our team aren't health professionals, building knowledge and understanding helps us better support the people we meet through Orange Sky each week. Access to clean clothes, clean bedding and positive hygiene practices can make a real difference to community health and wellbeing.

A big thank you to Mick for sharing his knowledge and helping our team continue to learn, grow and support healthier communities. 💙🧺

💙 Healthy Skin Week in Halls Creek

Our Halls Creek Orange Sky team was proud to support Healthy Skin Week, which focused on raising awareness about diphtheria and providing free vaccinations to community members.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, share important health messages and support local efforts to keep families healthy and safe.

🎉 Congratulations to our participants who recently completed the Warehouse Essentials training in Broome!

Throughout the course, participants built practical warehouse skills while also demonstrating positive attitudes, teamwork, strong participation and a genuine commitment to finding employment.

Feedback from the trainer was incredibly encouraging, with all participants identified as ready to be connected with potential employers and take the next step in their employment journey.

At Job Pathways, we know that building confidence and developing practical skills can open doors to new opportunities, and it's fantastic to see participants embracing that journey.

Well done to everyone involved. We can't wait to see what comes next! 👏

🌟 Real outcomes happen when community works together.

We're proud to be partnering with organisations like Key Assets and Lily Lagoon Resort to help local mums overcome barriers to employment and step into meaningful work.

Through work readiness support, transport assistance, interview preparation and ongoing mentoring, several mums have successfully secured casual cleaning roles that fit around school hours and family commitments.

One of these women, after years of housing instability, is now working towards applying for a family home. That's the power of opportunity, support and backing people to succeed.

A huge thank you to Key Assets, Lily Lagoon Resort, our Employment Services team and our Post Placement Support team for walking alongside these women every step of the way.

Every job tells a story. This one is helping build stronger futures for local families. 💙
