Stand Against Islamophobia – Help Restore a Safe Place of Worship

On March 24, 2026, the Kilmore Islamic & Community Centre in Victoria, Australia, a heritage building being converted from a former church into a mosque, was deliberately set on fire. Thankfully, no one was inside at the time, but the building sustained significant damage. This is the first such attack in Kilmore and comes amid a worrying rise in Islamophobic incidents across Victoria and Australia, including threats, vandalism, and violence targeting Muslim individuals and places of worship

On 24 March, the Kilmore Islamic & Community Centre in Victoria was the target of a deliberate arson attack. Alhamdulillah, no one was injured, but our historic heritage building suffered significant damage.

We now turn to our Ummah and the wider community to help us transform this tragedy into a powerful sign of resilience, faith, and unity.
