Information Sought on Timothy O'Brien
We have had a request for information on Timothy O'Brien who was buried in the Kilmore Public Cemetery in 1862, after departing this life on the 9th December at the age of 65. The memorial was erected by James Lee.
He may have been the same Timothy O'Brien who arrived on the convict ship Siren in Van Diemen's Land in 1836 aged 37, or perhaps another Timothy O'Brien who arrived on the Blenheim in 1834 aged 35 and was assigned to a Mr Steel in Bathurst.
Anyone with information is invited to contact Liz Dillon-Hensby through the Kilmore Historical Society website, or here on our page.
