To promote Men's Health Week (15-21 June), we've got a few events coming up covering physical and mental health for the male folk in our community.

From Friday 12 June to Sunday 21 June, Mitchell Shire Leisure Services are offering free blood pressure checks and a free guest pass for participants. Book by dropping in or calling Seymour or Kilmore Leisure Centres🔗https://brnw.ch/21x3hAA

Working bee at the Rotary Peace Arboretum Kilmore today.

Thanks also to the members of the Rotary E Club that attended.

We planted a number of trees, rolled up the fence around the Sun Dial, placed a number of items in the container and continued to chip out thistles.

Join us for the next Rotary Peace Arboretum Working Bee A joint exercise with the Rotary Club Southern Mitchellon Saturday 13 June in Kilmore. 10.00am to 3.00pm

Works to be done update:

Plant 12 replacement native plant tube stock, spray and mulch
Plant 5 Maple seedlings around Conversation Circle area.
Remove 44-gallon drum tree guards some of which will require angle grinder
Plant, water, guard and mulch extra 15 selected plants in internal area.
Cut thistles at ground level
Locate old tin sheets and metal and set aside for transport
Take down and roll up Sundial fence
Burn pile of old timber and branches
Internal fence, strain wires.
Plus, more subject to the weather and volunteer number

Big thanks to MarkDsigns in Kilmore for updating the Rotary Southern Mitchell President’s board. A great job in record time and ready for our Board Changeover (not much change really as most Board members are staying on for another amazing year of doing good things in our communities!) on July 1.
