What will Kendenup be like in 10 years?
Didn't make the walkshop, or didn't get a chance to have your say?
The next step in the Place Plan closes on Monday.
Will we need a mini CRC?
How about better drainage?
Conserving our history and environment?
Do we need more industry or keep the peace and quiet?
Important places not mentioned?
The link to the survey is in comments.
Town Team Movement will collect the answers, combine with the walkshop information and there will be one more workshop before being presented to Council. It will be the basis of the Shire of Plantagenet 10 year plan for Kendenup.
Hard copies are available Two Black Sheep General Store.
Have your say.

Following on from the concerns we had at the Townwalk Workshop we held a month ago,
Paul Cook and Peter Barr from ABC Great Southern have brought some of our concerns to the Main Roads attention, as was heard on the radio this morning.
We have written to the Shire to ask their Road Wise committee to conduct a Road Safety Audit.
PLEASE email your concerns to

Speed limit, lighting, slip lane and TransWA bus are just some of the safety issues discussed which we feel need urgent attention.

The Kendenup Progress Ass. welcomed 16 participants to the 5 Quick Wins Workshop on Sunday. Thanks for coming along. First quick wins to be completed by the end of April are:
- directory of contacts for everything Kendy from snake relocator to music group.
- more spots to sit (info coming) and
- creation of new and restoration of old signs around the town.
These little subgroups have gone off to make it happen so standby for updates and requests from them especially if you were not able to make it but want to join a team.
The morning tea contributions were delicious.

A quick rubbish run today along Lake Matilda Rd, Hassell Ave, and corner of Red Gum Pass netted a van load of rubbish. On the return trip we picked this off the road to the tip. Please don't forget to tie down your load.
The rubbish in some spots was less than previous times, and I know others are picking up too, thank you.
If you would like to get involved in keeping Kendenup tidy, you could register to "Adopt a Spot" and receive gloves, tongs and bags for free.

I used the Western Power website to complain about the tag on the power box on Beverley.
One person used the Telstra website and another the Snap Send Solve app for the tags on the phone box.
All have been removed.
