A BETTER LIFE MINISTRIES is dedicated to helping people find the Hope, which is made available by entering into a committed relationship with God, through the transforming life of Jesus Christ! -- (John 10:10; 14:1-6) I was born in 1938, in Perth Western Australia and graduated from the Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI) -- (1966-1968). Since graduating from SIBI and returning to Australia in May 1968, I have established and developed five different congregations of the Church of Christ in Western Australia. My work has involved preaching, teaching, youth work, frail-aged care, and a Cancer-care ministry, which has seen me serve as a Pastoral Counselor with the Albany Palliative Care team for five years. My wife Moya and I are serving our Lord with the Malaga Church of Christ Pre-Denominational church of Christ, located in Malaga, Western Australia. DISCOVERING A BETTER LIFE
For many years, I have been involved in an extensive media outreach which uses newspaper, radio programs, and the Discovering A BETTER LIFE website, https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife. The primary aim of our website is to make available the messages of hope and encouragement that are already being distributed in numerous newspapers throughout Australia. I edit a regular weekly column called “Discovering A BETTER LIFE” which has appeared in up to 25 different secular newspapers throughout Australia. Hundreds of responses are received from these articles each year and thousands of pieces of gospel literature are being mailed out throughout Australia and all over the world. Hundreds of men and women have also enrolled in Bible Correspondence Courses, which has resulted in many people being taught about Jesus, many baptisms, and numerous restorations. Through our A BETTER LIFE MINISTRIES website,
https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife, we have been privileged to introduce spiritually inspiring links that communicate the wonderful love of Jesus, along with the Joy and Peace that He so deeply desires to share with all men and women throughout the world. We genuinely pray that many will find inspiration, hope and encouragement as you investigate these sites. The Discovering A BETTER LIFE website,
https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife makes available positive messages of hope and encouragement to help men and women find joy and meaning in their lives as we empathize with their needs, hurts, and successes. Today, entire families in many cities and rural areas of our nation and throughout the world are obtaining very little satisfaction out of life. In fact, many with whom we counsel have difficulty in dealing with interpersonal problems. They are often anxious, depressed and sometimes anti-social, even to the point of outright hostility! However, we are convinced that many people who are burdened by these worries can be helped to live courageous lives in an insecure and discouraging society if only they are offered some positive encouragement. The world we live in can sometimes be a pretty tough and cold place and it's often hard to feel safe and loved in an environment where most people fight for their own survival. Discovering A BETTER LIFE MINISTRIES, https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife is personally committed to helping men and women live courageous lives in an increasingly insecure and discouraging world. We believe that if you intimately know the living God, He can provide for you a place of comfort and safety where you can be yourself and know that you are loved as you are. God doesn't harm you, nor does He demand anything from you to receive His love. In fact, He is the only place where you can feel totally safe and wanted, where you know that you count and are special - very special. We want each of you who visit our website, https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife, to experience God's wonderful love. In Him, you are safe - safer than anywhere you could ever be! The messages we share through our written articles and inspirational web links are centred on providing emotional and spiritual support on an entirely non-denominational basis. The hundreds of Letters, Phone calls and Emails we receive each year, clearly indicate that some special needs are being met through what we are privileged to share. Discovering A BETTER LIFE MINISTRIES, https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife, also provides and distributes, (at no cost to you) inspirational website links, radio broadcasts and compact disc (CD) messages, as well as printed, sound Biblical material. We genuinely pray that the information we shall be sharing through our website, https://abl-alb.wixsite.com/discoverabetterlife, will enrich your life. We welcome your comments or questions.
