Lovely weather for planting and the nursery is open today and tomorrow so come and check it out. We had a great day at Lawson last weekend at Gardening with Natives in the Blue Mountains, and next Wednesday Nov 4th 10-1pm we will have a stall outside the BM Food Co-op in town, for those who find it hard to get to Clairvaux.
We are also on the fabulous Katoomba Sustainability Shopping trail, a great guide to good local businesses- look for this logo...

It's happening! New plants are coming ready at last. I was delighted wandering around the sales area this afternoon and seeing so many new species in the shelves.
We're open tomorrow from 10-1pm, but be quick, there may not be many of each just yet.

On today. Food Security Fair at the old golf course Katoomba! Lots to see and do. The rain is over and the sky is getting blue.
WILDPLANTS are Food Security for WILDLIFE!

Help us to search for Dianella tenuissima!
In the spring of 2026, we at Blue Mountains Wildplant Rescue are doing something a bit new and different. We are asking our members and friends to help us to find, and to document, a very special and little known plant that is living in our midst - Dianella tenuissima.

This little plant is very clever at keeping a low profile. Because it flowers only for a very short time, the best time to look for it is in the first two to three weeks of October.
