It always starts the same way…

“Is it like scouts?”

Then they come along and realise…

✔️ One minute they’re building something
✔️ Next minute they’re laughing uncontrollably
✔️ Then suddenly they’re learning real-life skills without even noticing

Last week:

The Girl Who Didn’t Want to Come 💛

Last term, a girl stood at the door.

Wouldn’t come in.
Wouldn’t speak.
Held tightly to her mum’s hand.

Fast forward three weeks…

She was leading a game. Laughing. Teaching another girl how to tie knots.

Nothing dramatic happened.
No pressure.
Just space, kindness, and time.

That’s what Girl Guides does.

We don’t force girls to fit in.
We create a place where they naturally belong.
