Penrith Hospital Auxiliary The United Hospital Auxiliary - Penrith Branch celebrated its 90th Anniversary in September 2022. Some of us arrive early around 12.30pm to meet up for lunch.

The Penrith Hospital Auxiliary are a group of people who make items for sale and sell them to raise money to purchase much needed equipment for the Nepean Hospital, Penrith NSW Australia. The group celebrated their 90th Anniversary in September 2022 and are still going strong. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1.30pm at the Henry Sports Club, Henry Lawson Drive, Werrington County. We hav

e a stall in the West Block of Nepean Hospital on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to sell our goodies.
8.30am to 2.30pm

Our members make many things for sale such as knitted and crochet blankets, baby and childrens clothes, nappy hangers, lots of baby gifts and much more. We are well known for our cakes, biscuits and
jams but arrive quickly as they sell fast. Our group also make beanies for the maternity ward and donate knitted or crochet blankets and book parcels to the maternity ward for those less fortunate. If you would like to join us, membership is only $2 per year. Please join us to help our local hospital.

Penrith Hospital Auxiliary has just donated $29,931.01 to Nepean Hospital to buy much needed equipment.

* Vital Observation Monitor for the Birth Unit
This is used to perform observations on women in labour and after birth.

* Astodia Diaphanoscope for the NICU
This device makes it easy to find blood vessels for reliable puncture.

* Lo Lo Bed for the Orthopaedic ward
A Lo Lo bed is a bed that can lower to the ground for high-risk patients to reduce falls.

* Flocare Infinity NG Feeding Pumps x 4 for the Children’s Ward
Currently the Children's ward has only 4 pumps and require up 10 at any given time during Winter.

Our members are a caring group who sew, cook and knit lovely craft items which they donate for sale at a stall at Nepean Hospital and the local Shopping Centres. All profits are used to purchase much needed equipment for the Nepean Hospital. United Hospital Auxiliary, Penrith Branch has been around for over 90 years servicing our local hospital.

We are about helping to make a significant and lasting difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community.

Penrith Hospital Auxiliary will be holding their monthly stall tomorrow at Nepean Hospital from 8am - 2pm . They have some lovely patchwork quilts all sizes plus lots of other craft .
