Penrith Hospital Auxiliary has just donated $29,931.01 to Nepean Hospital to buy much needed equipment.

* Vital Observation Monitor for the Birth Unit
This is used to perform observations on women in labour and after birth.

* Astodia Diaphanoscope for the NICU
This device makes it easy to find blood vessels for reliable puncture.

* Lo Lo Bed for the Orthopaedic ward
A Lo Lo bed is a bed that can lower to the ground for high-risk patients to reduce falls.

* Flocare Infinity NG Feeding Pumps x 4 for the Children’s Ward
Currently the Children's ward has only 4 pumps and require up 10 at any given time during Winter.

Below are photographs of the equipment which some of our members donated on Tuesday 8 April 2025.

Our members are a caring group who sew, cook and knit lovely craft items which they donate for sale at a stall at Nepean Hospital and the local Shopping Centres. All profits are used to purchase much needed equipment for the Nepean Hospital. United Hospital Auxiliary, Penrith Branch has been around for over 90 years servicing our local hospital.

We are about helping to make a significant and lasting difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community.

The Penrith Hospital Auxiliary made up 30 Care Packs and donated to the Nepean Hospital Mental Health Centre this week. We also make Care Packs for the Emergency department on a regular basis. Often people arrive at hospital confused and need these essential items.

We are always looking for donations of toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, soap/shower gel, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner and clip lock bags to store the items in.
If you are able to assist with donating some of these products please message us.

Corner of Evans Street and Maxwell Street.

Our members will be selling their home made goods from 9am to 4pm.

All profits go to purchase much needed equipment for Nepean Hospital.
