FUTURE VOLUNTEER CALL OUT

What an epic Saturday we had at parkrun!

With the roster filled for the half marathon weekend, it’s time to get organised for the rest of the month and next month too!

All the rosters have been updated online so please check the parkrun app or the online roster to see if you can fill a spot.

We have no news yet of when Hervey Bay parkrun will be back and running and we appreciate the extra volunteers who have stepped up and taken on new roles and been flexible in filling our roster.

But the key remains that we need to fill our core roles every week once Hervey Bay starts back again.

We love all our volunteers and send us a message with the date and preferred role and your barcode so we can add you to the roster! 🙂

A record 279 runners and walkers joined us this morning at Point Vernon Foreshore Reserve parkrun for a crisp but sunny morning with a head for an extra challenge to celebrate parkrun 's 1 millionth event. Thanks to all our volunteers, some of whom were doing their first ever vollie and special thanks to Julie Evans for the 1,000,000 sign which was a popular photo background
