Point Vernon Foreshore Reserve parkrun

A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Point Vernon Foreshore Reserve. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

An enormous thank you to everyone for your support with ‘parkwalk for Daniel’ in Australia on Saturday, which we coordinated in partnership with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation as part of our commitment to being a Child Safe Organisation. ❤️

Whilst we know that more than 200 parkruns officially registered their event, many more encouraged their parkrun communities to wear red and be involved in the campaign. It was an incredible day with almost 90,000 people participating in parkrun around Australia.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great for our parkwalk for Daniel Day, although the rain did hold off to allow 88 brave souls to complete our course.
