Thank you to today's guest speaker, Sophie Fossey of Bare Roots Design for joining us.
Sophie, a landscape designer and her family moved to Harden a year and a half ago for a slower paced lifestyle only to take on a huge project: restoration of Harden's old picture theatre 'The Lyceum'.
It was great to hear your ideas for the building and we all look forward to seeing this old beauty brought back to life.
Sophie would love to hear of your fond memories at the old theatre (anonymous if you prefer 🀭) as part of this project.
You can catch Sophie at her coffee van down the side of the theatre each weekend.

Thank you Paula Butt for joining us today as our special guest speaker.
We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your life, growing up in our community, career changes, starting a family and creating Nothing Butt Love.
Harden and the surrounding communities are so lucky that you followed your calling and became a Celebrant.

Thanks also to Paula's husband Leigh (Harden's own Hound Dog) who treated us with a preview of his upcoming show Outback Debutant Ball.

Last week we held our first morning tea of the year. Our guest speaker Reg, was an apology on the day but thankfully Kerry Lindeman, Young Cluster Manager for MLHD was available to meet with us.
Kerry's attendance at our meeting gave us an opportunity to review the needs of our local hospital and nursing home, as well as address any questions we had. It was a very positive meeting with a number of items noted for purchase.
Member Lyn Webb also received her badge for Branch Life Membership as awarded in December.
Our next meeting will be Thursday 5th March.
