Have an idea for Harden-Murrumburrah?

Interested in being part of a Task Team?

HRDC has two simple forms to help keep the process clear and practical.

The Community Idea Form helps record ideas clearly and fairly. It can be used for ideas about local projects, tourism, events, main streets, youth activities, active spaces, heritage, signage, dog-friendly initiatives, welcome activities or anything else that could help our community.

The Volunteer Expression of Interest form helps HRDC understand which Task Teams people are interested in, what skills or local knowledge they may like to contribute, and what kind of tasks they may be able to help with.

Both forms are available from the HRDC office.

You can also contact Melissa or Antonia to have digital copies emailed to you.

Task Team next steps will be shared before the end of June.

Let’s keep the ideas flowing and the momentum moving.

Couldn’t make it to the Task Team Recruitment Night?

That’s okay, there is still time to get involved.

The Task Teams are about bringing together people who care about particular projects, places and ideas across Harden-Murrumburrah.

You might want to:
πŸ’‘ share a community idea
πŸ™‹ register interest in a Task Team
🀝 offer local knowledge, skills or contacts
πŸ“‹ help with planning, events, research or community engagement
🌱 support practical projects that make our twin towns stronger
You do not need to have attended the recruitment night to be part of the next step.

Community Idea Forms and Volunteer Expression of Interest forms can be collected from the HRDC office, or you can contact Melissa or Antonia to have a digital copy emailed to you.
HRDC will follow up with next steps before the end of June.

Thank you to everyone helping turn community ideas into practical action.

One of the best parts of the Task Team Recruitment Night was seeing such a wonderful mix of people around the room.

There were people who have lived in Harden-Murrumburrah all their lives, people who have chosen to move here to raise young families, people who have retired here, and people who have immigrated to Australia and made our twin towns home.

There were young people, parents, business owners, volunteers, long-term locals, new residents and community leaders all sitting together and talking about practical ways to make Harden-Murrumburrah even stronger.

That diversity is one of our community’s greatest strengths.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, listened and brought such a positive spirit to the evening.

HRDC will follow up with next steps before the end of June.

Missed the night? You can still be involved. Community Idea Forms and Volunteer Expression of Interest forms are available from the HRDC office, or contact Melissa or Antonia to receive a digital copy.

Every contribution matters.
