GHAC members had a lovely drive to Boreen Point, via Pomona, for a morning tea stop. Unfortunately one car had problems not long after leaving the clubrooms and had to head back to Gympie. The weather was mostly kind, a shown just after leaving Boreen Point and another as we got back into Gympie. We ended the rally with a delicious lunch at the Jockey Club Hotel. Thanks to those who attended.

Mother Nature turned on beautiful weather today for our drive to Dickabram Bridge and Gundiah. An assortment of vehicles made their way to Dickabram Bridge via Sexton. We enjoyed our morning tea beside the bridge. Next we went on to Gundiah via Theebine. We even added a bit more history into our day with a drive to see Old Emerys Bridge (No 2). Lunch stop was at Gundiah Hotel (better known as the Gundy Pub). Thanks to all who came on today's rally. There was a lot of historic points in today's rally. The old cars adding another nostalgic touch.

GHAC's June 2026 rally calendar

GHAC members proudly supported Gympie's Little Haven Palliative Care today. We had a rally to Kandanga to attend the biggest morning tea cancer fundraised in aid of Palliative Care. It was drizzly rain but that didn't deter us - we were there for good reason. We participated in a trivia quiz and a car story puzzle - all a bit of fun. We all keenly looked at our raffle tickets when the draw was held. Yvonne won one of the raffle prizes. Thanks to all who attended. Thanks heaps to the organisers of the event.

GHAC members were out and about again today. We have a most enjoyable drive to Cobb & Co 9 mile camping grounds. We sported a great variety of cars:- - thanks Peter and Ann for organizing today. 7 club cars departed from the clubrooms on the rally; 1 more caught us up at the venue; plus a car from the campgrounds - that makes 9 in the display line up. Some members stayed for a BYO picnic lunch and a chat; while others went home or elsewhere. It was a great outing. Fantastic place, thanks Cobb & Co 9 mile for having us visit.

Gympie Historic Auto Club was pleased to be asked to transport the show princesses at the official opening of the 2026 Gympie Show. The vehicles were a 1927 Chev truck, 1950 Austin A70 ute and a 1952 Austin A40 ute. They did a lap of honour around the arena before parking up for the official opening. Congratulations Gympie Show and congratulations to all the show girls and guys.
