Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month 🩷💙

This month, we join with families across Australia to acknowledge Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time dedicated to breaking the silence surrounding miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.

For many parents and families, loss can feel incredibly isolating. This month creates space to share stories, honour precious lives, grieve openly, and find comfort in community support.

We also recognise the importance of compassionate support in the early days and weeks following loss. Simple acts of care, understanding, and connection can make a meaningful difference to those walking through grief.

Whether through naming a baby, planting a tree or lighting a candle, every remembrance is a beautiful acknowledgement of a life deeply loved and never forgotten.

To every family carrying the loss of a baby in their hearts: we see you, we remember with you, and you are not alone. 🤍

COMMUNITY RAFFLES | SUPPORTING LIFEHOUSE GYMPIE

Throughout September, our Gympie RSL Community Raffles proudly supported Lifehouse Gympie, helping them continue their important work supporting local women, couples, mums and families through pregnancy, parenting and times of uncertainty.

Lifehouse provides a free, confidential and welcoming place where people can access options information, counselling, practical support, maternity and baby goods, individual support programs, online classes and more. They also provide support around pregnancy and baby challenges, pregnancy and infant loss, and help families who may be feeling overwhelmed, isolated or in need of a helping hand.

Their Lifehouse Loved Shop also provides quality, affordable pre-loved pregnancy, baby and preschool items, while donated goods help provide essential supplies to families who need them.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our wonderful community, we’re proud to have raised $4,362 through our September Community Raffles!

These funds will help Lifehouse continue providing practical and emotional support to local families when they need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, donated and helped make this possible.
