A peaceful community walk to Erina Creek to honour Audrey, reflect, and stand together in love, unity and light.

Please wear white and bring a frangipani or stone with your message.

(Please arrive by 4:45pm for a short welcome before we begin)

Where

We will gather at Gosford Leagues Club Park and walk together to Erina Creek.

What to Expect

• A 4km walk at a gentle, respectful pace
• Kathleen and family will lead the way
• A moment at Audrey’s site to pause and pay respect and leave a frangipani or stone with a special message.
• A community coming together in connection and care

• While the forecast is looking positive, please come prepared for possible showers
• There is limited space along the footpath near Audrey’s site — please move thoughtfully so everyone has the opportunity to pay their respects safely

After the Walk

We are grateful to Six String Brewery for hosting an informal gathering following the walk.

A percentage ofCoastiee Lager sales will be donated to Stand With Audrey to support safety and prevention initiatives.

• A return 70-seat bus has been kindly provided by Central Coast Sports College.

• Departure: 7:00pm sharp from Six Strings.

Please make your own arrangements where possible.

🌸As we approach one year since my beautiful Audrey Siobhain Griffin was taken from us, the pain of losing her is still something we carry every single day.

There are no words for a loss like this, but what has carried us through has been the love and support of this incredible family, friends, and community.

Audrey had such a positive, beautiful spirit for life. She loved people, she loved connection, and she welcomed everyone with open arms. This walk is about honouring her in that same spirit.

On Sunday 22 March at 5pm, I invite our community to meet at Leagues Club Park, Gosford, and walk peacefully together to Audrey’s site at Erina Creek.

We will walk in light and love to honour my beautiful daughter, to remember her life, and the joy and love she brought into the world.

Please wear white and bring frangipanis to lay at the site.

This day is about walking together — remembering Audrey Siobhain Griffin, standing together as a community, and saying thank you to everyone who has supported me and our family through the most difficult year of our lives.

We still have a long journey ahead of us, and we will not stop fighting for accountability and justice.

But on this day, we walk together for Audrey Siobhain Griffin.

Please also be respectful of cars and other pedestrians as we walk.

Thank you for continuing to hold Audrey in your hearts.
Your love and support mean more than words can ever say.

It’s hard to believe that Light Up was 4 months ago today!

All the people behind the scenes of Light Up have taken some time to reconnect with family, their work, grieve and reflect on what was an incredible event supported by the Central Coast community.

Light Up was inspired by the memory of Audrey Griffin and a determination to seek community action to stand up for injustice and work together to create a safer community for all walks of life here on the Central Coast.

To have 4000 people all wearing white, all ages, supporting the event, participating in activations, dancing to bands, eating yummy food and connecting as a community was truly inspiring.

Words cannot thank you ALL for showing up and proving that community action is powerful and can create change.

The Stand With Audrey team are working behind the scenes on proactive measures to continue fighting for justice and safe communities. Stay tuned for new updates soon.
