Wild Fig Service Alliance - Central Coast

Wild Fig Service Alliance was founded by a group of established business people on the NSW Central Coast who were looking for opportunities to work with other service oriented businesses. While traditional networking groups focus on measuring how many new business referrals each member contributed to the group, the Wild Fig founders took a broader view of building and strengthening business. Beli

eving in the value of repeat as well as new business, Wild Fig aims to add value to existing customer relationships as well as providing promotional and alliance opportunities to develop new leads. Via professional marketing, a promotional website, events and public relations. Wild Fig brings valuable benefits to members above and beyond member generated leads. By raising public awareness of the group as an alliance of trustworthy local businesses with high service ethics, status as a Wild Fig partner enhances a member's image as a reputable service provider.

Another cracking morning at The Point Cafe East Gosford with the Wild Fig Service Alliance - Central Coast

A huge thanks to Mel Archer from The Foundry Cowork for joining us and sharing her 28 years of expertise. Mel dove into the "hidden" side of co-working, showing how the right environment and organic networking can actually drive local visibility for your business, improve mental wellbeing, and increase long-term business sustainability.

This is exactly what we are about at WFSA. We meet fortnightly to learn from experts like Mel, connect on a deeper level, and grow our businesses right here on the Central Coast.

It is why our service alliance is so highly regarded in the local business community because we prioritise genuine value and high-calibre insights over just swapping business cards.

Because we operate on a category-exclusive basis, the room is built on trust and collaboration. When you sit at our table, you aren't just networking; you are part of an alliance that genuinely wants to see your business thrive.

We currently have a few seats at the table for business categories we don’t yet have represented in our group. If you are a local leader looking for a community that helps you stay connected and sharp, we would love to invite you to our next breakfast.

Mel’s session was a great reminder that business is better when you don't do it in isolation. If you are ready to see how a professional service alliance can shift the needle for your business, get in touch to visit us for a session.

We had a fantastic turnout at our recent Wild Fig Service Alliance breakfast, where Nadia O'Connell Firesecreek Botanical Winery shared powerful insights on how business owners can create fresh direction and renewed energy through product and service diversification and the power of relationship marketing.

With a PhD in Marketing, a Master's in International Marketing, and experience across private industry, government and lecturing at JCU and NYU, Nadia brings a rare mix of strategic depth and practical insight. Now based at Firescreek Botanical Winery, she continues to apply her expertise in ways that are both commercial and creative.

This 30 second photo reel gives you a sneak peek into what its like to be in the room at our exclusive public events, the atmosphere, the calibre of speakers, and the focus on real world business growth. Its a snapshot of mornings where we bring together experts in marketing, tech, sales, HR, local politics and more, all with one goal: helping Central Coast businesses grow and strengthen our local community.

Our next event is set to be a big one, featuring Mayor Lawrie McKinna sharing insights that matter for local business and the regions future.

We can close our eyes, but we can't close our ears.

When it comes to deciding where to split up our marketing and advertising budget, it's hard.

We often fall back on the same things we've always done, not because they work wonderfully, but rather because we're familiar with it.

Today, thanks to Gabby Bowles, we learned a lot more about how interconnected all the different avenues are for getting our brand out there.

If you're up to learning something new, every 2 weeks, we hold breakfast meetings just like this one on a full range of topics that affect local

Open for questions - and questions all answered. That's what we expect from politicians.

Dr Gordon Reid shared his views, ideas and even a few personal gems with us about his experiences as both a politician and medical doctor.

And now that it's confirmed that he's returning to his role as federal MP, we're going to be looking forward to how he'll represent us as hashtag .

If you'd like to learn more about us at Wild Fig Service Alliance and how we work to bring leaders to speak at our events, feel free to reach out.

We're continue to grow and looking to have a positive impact in our community

No photos or videos to share from this morning’s Wild Fig Service Alliance breakfast meeting and presentation, as we were missing our photographer/videographer extraordinaire, Marc Charette. But it was an extremely insightful morning learning from Dr Leanne Faulkner (Fortitude at Work) who shared her extraordinary and unexpected insights into the outcome of her PhD research into micro and small business mental health and wellbeing. She left us all with a lot of food for thought into how to look at stress at work as business owners through an entirely different lens. And we are thrilled to have her on board as our newest member!

How do you take personal responsibility for the quality of life you have as a resident or ? One thing is for sure, Cr Trent McWaide and Mayor Lawrie McKinna take this very seriously.

Today at Wild Fig Service Alliance, we learned more about the "Open For Business" plan to ensure that our elected members are securing the future quality of life we all choose to live here for.

With very special thanks to Phaedra Pym and Michael J. Adams JP for helping to make this event today a success.

And we could not have done it without the wonderful food and service at the Green View Cafe in Kincumber

We were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden and unexpected passing of a much-loved former Wild Fig member, Ann Rolfe, on Saturday, 21 September. As the founder and owner of Mentoring Works, Ann was deeply respected for her mentoring advocacy and significant contributions to the field. During her time with Wild Fig, she shared her knowledge and wisdom freely. Her professional legacy will live on through her many published books.

We remember Ann fondly as a softly-spoken, highly intelligent, kind and caring woman with a passion for hats and vibrant colours. She was always the most impeccably dressed person in the room.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 3–6 pm in South West Rocks, where she moved some years ago, to celebrate Ann’s life and share the brightness and memories she brought into people’s lives. A Zoom link will be available for any current or former member who would like to watch the service, with speeches shared after 4 pm. Zoom: https://bit.ly/annmemorial
