WE'RE HIRING | Casual Disability Support Worker

The Base Support Services Inc. is seeking passionate, reliable, and motivated Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in the Ipswich and surrounding regions.

We are looking for support workers who are genuinely committed to empowering people with disability to achieve their individual goals, build independence, and pursue their aspirations.

What we're looking for:

✔ Experience supporting people with disability, mental health, ABI, or complex support needs

✔ A person-centred and strengths-based approach to service delivery

✔ Motivation to support participants to identify, work towards, and achieve their goals and aspirations

✔ The ability to source suitable community activities, programs, and opportunities that align with participants' interests and NDIS goals

✔ Creativity and the ability to think outside the square when supporting participants to engage in their community, develop skills, and build meaningful connections

✔ Strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills

✔ Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Blue Card, First Aid/CPR, Driver Licence, and reliable vehicle

This role involves intensive case management with young people at risk of offending or involved in the justice system, working alongside families to address barriers, strengthen supports, and reduce recidivism. Thank you to our amazing community, and supporters that helped make our Annual Christmas BBQ a huge success!!

This event has been assisted by the Ipswich City Council 's Community Events Funding Program
