🏃♂️🏃♀️ Glenbrook 25 / 34 / 42
Put your hands up if you love running in the rain and mud? That sums up today – the weather was a little cool to start (unlike our 2025 event), with a massive downpour just as the events got under way! A very refreshing way to start!
Massive congratulations to all our finishers, and a special shout out to our overall winners across the three distances:
In the 42K, Anna Pillinger took out the women’s race in 3:31:43, followed by Morgan Moloney in 3:55:07 and Gill Fowler in 4:01:28. In the men’s race, D’arcy Lunn led the field home in 3:05:27, with Ian Wheatley second in 3:12:38 and Alexander Matthews third in 3:13:37.
In the 34K, Luke Taylor took the men’s win in 2:26:32, with Joshua Simone second in 2:36:32 and Brian Smith close behind in third in 2:36:49. Anne-Marie Cook led the women’s field home in 2:56:38, followed by Leah Saunders in 3:05:13 and Jo Nevin in 3:06:51.
In the 25K, Emma Byrne took out the women’s race in 2:03:18, with Chiara Hill second in 2:19:22 and Zoe Peters third, also in 2:19:22. Jak Bukovinsky led the men’s field home in 1:47:00, followed by Aiden Cullen in 1:50:28 and Joel Harvey in 1:53:12.

Thanks heaps to every runner who came out and raced in the rain with those muddy conditions underfoot! We saw a lot of muddy legs at the end - and so many smiles too. Glenbrook is a beautiful place to run – we hope you were able to take in some of its finest views whilst out there!
Whichever event you ran, you’ve done yourselves proud. We hope you got the time you wanted, and / or you achieved your Six Foot track qualifiers – massive thanks to our Six-Foot pacers out there today too!
