The AGM will include:

* Reports from the Committee
* Treasurer’s and audited financial reports
* Election of office bearers and Committee members
* Consideration of proposed changes to the Club Rules
* General business

Nominations for Committee positions are now open.
Members wishing to nominate eligible member are asked to complete a nomination form and return it to the Club by the nominated closing date 7th September 2026.

All members are encouraged to attend and have their say in the future of GBBC.

GREAT NEWS FOR THE CLUB!

We're thrilled to announce that Geilston Bay Boat Club has been successful in securing nearly $7,000 in equipment funding through the Tasmanian Government's Active Clubs Program (Active Tasmania), supported by the Hon Nick Duigan MLC, Minister for Sport.

This grant will go directly toward outfitting our George Behrens rescue boat with essential safety equipment — helping us keep our members, volunteers, and the wider Geilston Bay boating community safe on the water for years to come.

A huge thank you to Active Tasmania and the Tasmanian Government for backing community clubs like ours, and to everyone who helped bring this application together. Equipment planning is underway now, with the goal of having the rescue boat fully outfitted well ahead of the busy season.

Watch this space for updates as the gear arrives and is installed.
