Castle Law submissions from us, The Public, are now open.
Please consider having your say and input.
It’s time that we have the rights, not the criminals.

🏰Castle Law didn’t come from politicians, it came from the people.

For years Queenslanders were told crime wasn’t a problem because the statistics said so.

But good government isn’t about hiding behind numbers, it’s about reconciling statistics with what communities are actually experiencing.

And on the ground, people are not satisfied.

Queenslanders believe they should have the right to defend themselves and their families in their own home.

A criminal breaking into your house should never have been there in the first place and the last thing we want is a homeowner defending themselves and ending up the one facing jail.

Castle Law means homeowners aren’t the ones on trial.
📢 Submissions are now open.
