BattleFront Australis Living History Group

BattleFront Australis Living History Group Battle front Australis is an Australian living history organisation based in Brisbane, Queensland. Members conduct regular training days throughout the year.

The primary aim of the organisation is the historical recreation of the combatants and non-combatants of the 20th century using static, living history or battlefield re-enactment displays. All our members are united in a deep and abiding interest with the period and a desire to share this interest with the general public. It is the clear intention of BFA to commemorate and honour the lives and exp

eriences of all participants in conflict by accurately portraying them in displays, re-enactments and educational programs. To achive this we aim for high standards of research, personal presentation, conduct, safety and professionalism are also expected of all members and in displays. Such training is used to perfect the skills and knowledge of individual members and ensure that high standards of group accuracy and safety are established and maintained. Our group is a member of the Queensland Living History Federation (QLHF) and the Australasian Living History Federation (ALHF). BFA is non-political, and neither supports or condones any racist, extreamist, radical or similar political movements. We reserve the right to accept or decline any membership application at any time. Comprehensive guidelines for operation and membership (including interviews and probationary periods) are distributed to all members and any interested persons.
