Join the Epping - NSW RSL Sub-Branch for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service this Saturday 25 April 2026 at Forest Park to remember all of the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who have served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Assemble at the park at 5:45am for the 6am service.
This is followed by a breakfast at The Epping Club. All welcome

TODAY - Sunday 19 April 2026.
The Epping - NSW RSL Sub-Branch will be holding an ANZAC Service commencing at 2pm in the Grand Ballroom at The Epping Club to remember all of the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who have served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This is followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the Boronia Park Cenotaph and afternoon tea.
The upper end of Rawson Street will be closed for a short period around 2:30pm for a parade.
All welcome.

In the lead up to ANZAC Day, please come say ‘hi’ at our Epping - NSW RSL Sub-Branch stall at Epping station from 4pm - 6pm this coming Wednesday to Friday (22-24 April).
If you are a current or former Defence Australia member; or a partner, spouse or family of an ADF member - please ask us about joining our Sub-Branch
You can also support veterans and their families by making a gold coin donation to the ANZAC Appeal. There will be pins and poppies on sale

In the lead up to ANZAC Day on 25 April: This is a studio photo of Private William Charles Ravaillion, 3rd Reinforcements, 35th Batallion of Chester Street, Epping NSW.
A telegraph linesman prior to enlisting on 3 April 1916, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Anchises on 28 August 1916.
Pte Ravaillion was wounded at Villers-Bretonneux, and died while a prisoner of war at a German military hospital at Peronne on 5 April 1918, aged 25 years

Congratulations to Major (rtd) Andrew Brayshaw who has been elected (unopposed) as the incoming President of the Epping - NSW RSL Sub-Branch . Andy as he is known, has served 24 years with the British Army and 19 with the Australian Army.
A big thank you to Captain (rtd) Brian Swan AM as the outgoing President (Brian will continue on the Sub-Branch Committee to support the transition).
