🌊 Help Shape Buloke Shire's Future Flood Preparedness
Buloke Shire Council is undertaking a Flood Study to improve flood mapping, planning tools and flood management outcomes across the municipality.
Your local knowledge matters. Residents are encouraged to attend an upcoming community information session to share their experiences and insights about flood events in their area.
The study will help improve understanding of flood behaviour across Buloke Shire, supporting future flood preparedness, emergency planning and community resilience.
Key outcomes include:
✅ Updated flood studies and management plans
✅ Flood modelling, including climate change scenarios
✅ Assessment of flood risk reduction options
✅ Review of flood mitigation infrastructure
✅ Updates to flood warning and emergency management plans
