🖤💛❤️ National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to come together and reflect on our shared histories, cultures and achievements, while exploring how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Held each year from 27th May to 3rd June, these dates commemorate two significant milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey, the successful 1967 Referendum and the High Court’s historic Mabo decision, which recognised the land rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

National Reconciliation Week encourages all Australians to learn more about First Nations cultures, listen to Indigenous voices and strengthen relationships built on trust, respect and understanding. It is an opportunity to acknowledge the truth of our history and work together towards a more just, equitable and united future.

Reconciliation is not just a word, it is a shared commitment to creating positive change for current and future generations.

Let’s continue walking together, learning together and growing together🖤💛❤️
