Our Future Mentors (OFM) is excited and honoured to be attending the Black Tie & Slippers Charity Gala & Fundraiser on 24 October at the Tivoli Theatre, Brisbane 🌟 🌟 🌟

OFM has been invited to be part of this special evening and is incredibly grateful to have been selected as one of the community organisations to receive support through the funds raised on the night.

The Black Tie & Slippers Gala is a trauma-informed, community-first event designed to celebrate the organisations that show up for people when it matters most. It provides a shared stage to recognise the everyday heroes, grassroots organisations and community champions whose work often goes unnoticed and unrecognised.

We’re proud to share this special evening alongside Harbrow Mentoring, celebrating the power of community, connection and the people who dedicate their time and energy to making a difference in the lives of others.

What a magical morning down at Ellis Beach Surf Life Saving Club, welcoming the Hawthorn FC AFLW to beautiful Far North Queensland!

Yirrganydji Elders, Harbrow Mentoring, Dawul Wuru Aboriginal Corporation and Ellis Beach Surf Lifesaving Club came together to co-host a memorable breakfast experience, with the morning feast prepared by the incredible BLAQ PEARL Cuisine Barbra Drummond 👏🏽 👏🏽

Electrifying Guest Speaker Shennae Neal shook the room as she shared her powerful journey, breaking through challenges and overcoming adversity. Her story, her energy and her message had everyone locked in. A truly inspiring way to start the morning 🔥🔥🔥

A huge thank you to Yirrganydji Dancers for an impressive performance, sharing stories with our Victorian visitors.

TONIGHT AFLW ROUND 6 at CAZALYS STADIUM! Get amongst the AFLW atmosphere, It’s shaping up to be a top night of footy.

👣 EDOR IS HAPPENING IN BORROLOOLA👣

Harbrow Mentoring links up with Gulf Youth & Community Service and Borroloola School.

The Traditional Indigenous Game of Edor has made its way to Borroloola, with Harbrow Mentoring facilitators Kirtley Kusu and Marc Harbrow travelling all the way from Cairns to be part of the annual Malandari Festival.

Throughout the week, Kirtley and Marc will be linking up with students from Borroloola School, delivering in-school Edor clinics and sharing the history, culture and spirit of this incredible Traditional Indigenous Game.

And with an Edor Carnival attached to the Malandarri Festival, it’s shaping up to be another incredible week of sport, connection, and plenty of electrifying competition! 🔥 🔥 🔥

It’s always special seeing Edor continue to grow, connect communities and bring people together through physical activitiy 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♂️
