💙 Could you be a Girl Guide Volunteer?

You don’t need to have been a Guide. You don’t need to know every knot, campfire song or camping trick.

You just need to believe in what girls can do.

Our Volunteers support girls to try new things, make decisions, build practical skills and take the lead in their own Guiding experience.

You might bring a skill you’d love to share. A knack for organising. A love of the outdoors. A creative streak. Or simply the time and enthusiasm to help girls have a go.

And there are different ways to get involved, from working directly with girls as a Unit Leader or Helper to supporting Guiding in other roles.

Your experience could help create some pretty great experiences for girls across WA. 💙

🏅 Play On! Vouchers are opening again soon 🏅

Queensland families will soon be able to apply for a $200 Play On! Sports Voucher for eligible children aged 5–17 years to help cover the cost of joining local clubs, like Girl Guides!

✅ Use your voucher to offset the cost of a Guides Queensland membership or renewal!
✅ Up to $200 per child
✅ One voucher per child per financial year

The Play On! Sports Vouchers program helps make activities more affordable, giving more young people the opportunity to get active, join local clubs, and be part of their community.

Keep an eye out for the opening of the next round and visit the Queensland Queensland Department of Sport website to stay up to date.
