Where’s your favourite camping spot?

Cooking, camping, team-building games, beach days, paint and sip nights, campfire cooking (& singing!), service activities, archery, first aid training and laughter galore- Term 3 was yet another fabulous Guiding term for our Logan Village Girl Guide units.

We love our girl-led program and Term 4 planning is already underway with more camps, adventure, and service based activities pencilled in!

If you have a daughter aged between 5 and 17 years of age who is looking to expand her social network, make some friends and learn some new skills, we currently have vacancies in all three of our Logan Village Girl Guide groups and would love to welcome some new faces.

Over the last term our Ranger Guides have been busy collecting cup noodle donations in support of the amazing team at Rosies - Friends On The Street.
Thank you Rosies- Logan for the work that you do to support those experiencing hardship- and thank you for giving up your time to talk with and inspire our girls tonight.

🌳 🌲 Community service and caring for the environment are at the heart of Girl Guiding so today our high school aged girls took part in a community tree planting activity for National Tree Day 🌲 🌳

Together with other volunteers they helped to plant 1500 trees in the park on West Bega Rd, Kingston.

A massive thanks to Logan City Council for organising such a great event and to the Logan Village Lions Club team for ensuring volunteers were well fed 👏

Yesterday 3 of our Logan Village Ranger Guides joined forces with a brave Guide from Hervey Bay Girl Guides and set off as part of 2026 Adventure Quest! They adventured on buses, the metro, foot and via city cats to complete activities at bases around the city! 15000-ish steps later and they were the proud recipients of the wooden spoon! 🤣👏 A massive shoutout to the leaders who volunteered their time to set up such a fun day out 👏 Girl Guides Queensland

Did you know that Logan Village Girl Guides runs a group for high school aged girls?
We also have a group for girls 5-9 years and girls 9-12 years, with spots currently available in all three of our units.

Guiding offers girls and young women the opportunity to develop skills in teamwork and leadership, whilst simultaneously building self-confidence, lifelong friendships, and having a heap of fun and adventure. 🙂

We do a bit of everything- campfire 🔥 nights, cooking 🍳 , craft ✂️ , archery 🎯, movie 🍿 excursions, kayaking 🛶 , camping 🏕️ and city exploring 🌆

If you’d like to know more, or are interested in sending your daughter along on a free trial- email [email protected]

We start back Week 1 of the school term and it would be great to have some new faces.

No previous Guiding Experience necessary (& old faces are always welcome back!). 🏕️

Today some of our high school aged Ranger Guides ventured to LEAF - Logan Eco Action Festival to explore and learn more about taking environmental action and making sustainable choices.
Taking action for a better future is at the heart of our Guiding program so we are looking forward to hearing all about how our girls will put into action some of their learning from today ❤️

If you have a high school aged daughter who loves the outdoors - get in contact 🏕️
