Logan River parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Logan River Parklands, approximately 30km south east of Brisbane's CBD. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all th

e local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

What a fantastic morning down by the river! The air was crisp, the energy was high, and the community spirit was shining brighter than the hi-vis vests.

**👏 A Huge Round of Applause for our Volunteers!**
First and foremost, a massive thank you to our incredible team of volunteers—our “Hi-Vis Heroes.” Without you, this event simply doesn’t happen. Whether you were timing the finishers, scanning barcodes, or cheering us on at the turnarounds, your smiles and encouragement made all the difference today. You are the heart and soul of Logan River!

**👟 Welcome to the Family!**
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome **17 first-timers** to Logan River parkrun this morning! Whether it was your first time ever at a parkrun or you were visiting us from another course, we hope you loved the riverside views and the friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to see you back here again next week!

**⚡ PB Alert! ⚡**
The conditions must have been just right today, because a staggering **25 people recorded new Personal Bests (PBs)!** Crossing that line knowing you’ve pushed yourself harder than ever before is an incredible feeling. Huge congratulations to everyone who saw those magic letters "PB" next to their name in the results today—your hard work is paying off!

**🗓️ Next Week...**
Same time, same place! Don't forget your barcode, your smile, and maybe a friend. If you’d like to join the volunteer roster for future weeks, just send us a message or comment below. We’d love to have you!

Until then, happy running (or walking!), and have a wonderful week.

Good morning everyone,

Have you thought about volunteering this weekend?
If our roster looks full, it never is we will always find a role for you to do. So why not jump on board and join the red vests crew.

Perhaps on the day if you’re not sure of your weekend plans and don’t want to commit in advance, just turn up and talk to the RD when you arrive – we can never have too many volunteers!
