Wiremu is a 4 year old Maori boy, he enjoys puzzles, toy dinosaurs, helping in the kitchen, and spending time outside discovering nature and the world around him. Wiremu is independent in many ways and responds beautifully to encouragement, praise, and warm, positive attention. He thrives with routines and feels most settled when he knows what comes next in his day. Wiremu would benefit from carers who can provide structure, clear expectations, active engagement, and opportunities for learning through play and everyday experiences.

Theo* is a 5-year-old friendly and energetic little boy, who enjoys sports, building games, and spending time outdoors.
Theo would thrive in a supportive family environment where carers can provide strong role modeling while valuing and maintaining his Greek Cultural Identity.

Creating Links is seeking carers who can offer stability, patience, and a strong sense of belonging to children who need it most. If you can open your home and heart, we’d love to hear from you.

Today, we pause to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who have served and continue to serve our country this ANZAC Day.

We reflect on the spirit of mateship, bravery, and community that defines the ANZAC legacy, values that continue to inspire us in the work we do every day.

At Creating Links, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and acknowledge those who gave so much to protect them.

Lest we forget.

We’re looking for compassionate, culturally supportive foster carers!

Creating Links is seeking carers who can offer stability, patience, and a strong sense of belonging to children who need it most.

Meet Malani, a 12-year-old kind, active, outgoing Fijian girl who thrives on connection, culture, and adventure. She loves being outdoors, playing rugby and netball, swimming, gaming with friends, and performing traditional dance. Her cultural identity and her bond with her large family unit are incredibly important to her.
Malani needs a stable, warm home with carers who can offer guidance, emotional support, structure, and a long term commitment as she grows through her teenage years, while nurturing her connection to her culture and community.

What you’ll receive:
✔ Ongoing support and training
✔ Trauma informed care guidance
✔ Behaviour support
✔ A dedicated Creating Links team walking beside you

Every child deserves safety, stability, and a place where they truly belong. If you can open your home and heart, we’d love to hear from you.

Today we came together as a team to celebrate Harmony Week. A time to recognise and embrace the incredible cultural diversity that makes our organisation and community so special.

Our staff brought in a variety of delicious dishes from their own cultures, sharing not just food, but stories, traditions, and a piece of who they are.

From sweet to savoury, every dish reflected the richness of our multicultural workforce and the communities we support.

At Creating Links, diversity isn’t just something we acknowledge, it’s something we celebrate every day. It strengthens our connections, enriches our workplace, and helps us deliver more inclusive and meaningful support to children, families, and participants.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed and made today such a vibrant and memorable celebration!
