Tamelle's modelling career kick-off... 😍

Huge thanks to PetRescue and Poowee Australia for helping stock foster carers with quality clumping Lavender Litter 🪻

Sweet scents in the poo & wee trays make all the difference! 👌 Right?

We'll be sending bags to carers in remote Wheatbelt towns over the winter months.
Assisting people who are making
Stray Cat Clean Towns a reality in their communities! 🙌

Colin couldn't get the bags to sit as pretty as Tamelle 😆
But in the trays is where this litter really shines (though Miss T politely refused to demonstrate for the camera 🤭)

Buttercup needs a home... 🫶
(Owner Assisted Adoption)

He's a sweet, shy, somewhat scaredy 6 year old lad who would do best as the only cat in his house.

It's possible he *might* be OK with one feline friend who is as gentle souled as he is.
But generally, this lad does best with people, not other cats.

Affectionate with a quiet human or two, timid with other creatures, Buttercup (BC) tends to eat more than he needs to (by pinching food lol) 🤫 and would benefit from a gentle diet.

He's sterilised, microchipped and up to date with parasite treatment.
And has an old scar on the side of his face 🥺 (see photos in comments)

* Adoption fee is by donation or 'donation in kind' (payable to owner).
* Home will be well vetted.
* BC is currently located in Merredin.

This week's vet appointments... ❣️💨💨

Colin did a lot of rescue running on Tuesday and Wednesday (539km worth 😳)

Spays, neuters, health assessments and Gavin's next check up.

SAVA - Saving Avon Valley Animals fosters were on the road early and ready to get fixed (please help cover the costs of sterilisation by popping some love in the SAVA account!)

And pop a little in for SAVA's Gavin and his dog bitten leg also please! ❤️‍🩹
The wound is on the home stretch but needs a little more care yet.

Our AFF tux, Smartie, from Quairading has friendlied up pretty fast and was spayed at Student Vet Clinic at South Metropolitan TAFE on Wednesday.
Huge thanks to Tafe for all the amazing help!

Smartie is FIV+ (unfortunately) but is only about a year old and looking great! 👌

Miles needs a lift also... 🚕

From Koorda to Northam.

This stray tomcat was humanely trapped in town and has an eye issue that requires veterinary treatment ❤️‍🩹

If anyone can assist getting Miles to Northam (today, Friday or Saturday) that would be really helpful please!

Also, does anyone from Koorda know this lad or have any information about him or
his history? 🤷
(He doesn't appear to be used to people but someone may have seen him around).

Please get in touch if you can provide some info! 💬
It can help us to work out the best care plan.

Miles will be in a secure cat carrier for transport.
And he's a very good boy who is hoping for better days ahead 🖤🥹

And btw, do you know this shy lad? 🤷

He appears to be a Merredin stray who isn't used to being close to people.
But of course, cats can have histories that we don't know about.

He was humanely trapped by a caring community member and the local ranger has been informed.

If you know this lad, please get in touch so we can learn more about him.

If you can offer transport assistance to get him into AFF's care, we'd love to hear from you 🙏

Rusty is very orange 🧡

Come dinner time, he stares into our souls and I feel compelled to feed him extra 😆

No food? 😾 Sus**cious! 🧐
Very, very sus**cious, according to Rusty.

People should bring food and then disappear into thin air lol.

(But maybe we can hang out through the box hole?) 😘

He needs that broken tooth out asap.
It's starting to look worse than it did a few weeks ago 🥺

Rusty had some sort of mouth trauma incident before coming into care from
New Norcia. Many of his front teeth are missing and one canine is cracked.

Please help us raise the funds to make his treatment happen!
I'm sure he'll feel a lot more comfortable then.

Yesterday's Tafe pick up & drop off...

Along with Gavin getting a checkup, there were a couple of other SAVA - Saving Avon Valley Animals cats getting sterilised.

The biggest event of their lives! 💝

He's the one who was bitten by something with very large teeth! What a scary story his life has been so far 🥺
Thank goodness he came into foster care with SAVA - Saving Avon Valley Animals otherwise he'd have suffered horribly.

His wound is looking so much better now, but it started out as a gaping hole in his leg 😬
